Billy Woods

Last year, Brooklyn rapper Billy Woods released History Will Absolve Me, his first album since the breakup of his former duo, Super Chron Flight Brothers. It’s a solid album rooted in the Def Jux-style dark production and abstract rhyming that made a pretty great comeback last year. Check out one of its tracks, the jazzy “Body of Work,” which features Masai Bey and Roc Marciano, below, and stream the entire album on Spotify.

Billy is playing a hometown show TONIGHT (4/1) at Public Assembly for the Uncommon Records-presented “No Fools Day.” The show also features Mega Ran, Cavalier, Cult Favorite, Uncommon Nasa, and Pruven. Tickets for tonight’s show are available.
