Bing & Ruth playing Murmrr Ballroom, Alice Boman opening (who’s playing a free NYC show)

Bing & Ruth

David Moore’s instrumental ensemble Bing & Ruth toured behind their ambitious third LP No Home of the Mind last year, which showcased their unique brand of quiet power, utilizing hushed arrangements of piano, strings, and ambient electronics. They’ll be playing a special one-off show at Brooklyn’s Murmrr Ballroom on March 27. This is their only tour date at the moment. Tickets are on sale now.

Opening for the group is Swedish songwriter Alice Boman, who announced her first tour dates in nearly three years. She’s gained buzz throughout 2013-2015 with the help of a few great singles and EPs, and just released a new single, “End of Time.” — you can watch its video below. In addition the Bing & Ruth show, she’s playing a free show at NYC’s McKittrick Hotel (Manderlay Bar) on March 26 (10 PM doors). She’ll also play Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge on April 1 (tickets).

These NYC and L.A. shows come after a European tour — all dates are listed, along with “End of Time” and another recent single, “Dreams,” below.
