Black Midi at Warsaw

Black Midi & Onyx Collective @ Warsaw (pics)

UK math rock breakouts Black Midi are on a fall North American tour in support of their very good debut album, Schlagenheim, and they stopped in Brooklyn on Monday night (11/11) for a show with jazz ensemble Onyx Collective. During their 90-minute set, Black Midi had the Warsaw crowd riveted, whether they were moshing or simply swaying along. (The crowd included, as you can see in an instagram below, Pulp frontman and fellow Rough Trade artist Jarvis Cocker!) Check out pictures from the whole night in the gallery above, and watch a couple of fan-taken video clips below.

Black Midi’s US dates run through the end of November, and in January and February of 2020 they return to the road to tour Europe and the UK.
