Black Mountain IV

Black Mountain streaming 'IV'

Black Mountain are releasing their new album IV next week (4/1) via Jagjaguwar and they’re now streaming it in full. If you’re someone who complains that rock doesn’t have enough riffs anymore, you just aren’t listening to Black Mountain. This album is packed with them all the way through its almost-one-hour running time. But it’s not just riffs. They’ve also got great harmonies, massive choruses, keyboard solos, and it’s very much inspired by ’60s/’70s rock but manages to sound modern too. It’s a hell of a record, and you can listen to the whole thing below (via NPR).

The band is also touring, including NYC on June 30 at Bowery Ballroom.
