Black Star playing shows (Yasiin Bey too)

Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) and Talib Kweli recently teased their first album in 20 years as Black Star, and they’ll be playing one-off shows later this year. They’ll first be appearing at Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem on April 20 with Dead Prez and several others (tickets), before playing an exciting co-headlining bill with Nas at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 31, with additional support from Pusha T, Brother Ali, and ReMINDers (tickets).

Elsewhere, Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey will each be playing a few solo shows; the former will be playing at the newly-opened NYC venue Sony Hall on April 28. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Yasiin and Talib both play their own solo sets at Cincinnati Funk Fest. All dates for the two rappers are listed below.
