Bushwick venue The Acheron is closing this Saturday (7/9), and one of the final shows was supposed to be Black Tusk tonight (7/7). Sadly, they got into an accident and won’t be able to play, but luckily they’re all okay. They write:

as we were leaving town this morning to make it for our show at the Acheron in Brooklyn this thursday, someone ran a stop sign and hit us. the van and trailer were damaged to the point that they aren’t safe to drive. No serious injuries, but the band and crew are headed to doctors to get checked out. We unfortunately will not be making it to NYC. Hope to see y’all again soon

The venue added that Natur and Belus are still playing, and that refunds are available. Stay tuned in case another band gets added.

There will also be 57: Faces of The Acheron, a goodbye celebration happening the night of the Magrudergrind show (closing night). Here are the details:

Join us in getting your portrait taken outside of the Acheron doors in front of the iconic number 57 on the last night of their existance. We’ll be set up right out front of the 57 and you won’t be able to miss the flash umbrellas. This is obviously free and goes all night. Come by before the Magrudergrind show and say a final goodbye to this special place we’ve all spent countless of hours at.

57: Faces of The Acheron is a photo tribute to the Acheron, all portraits will be compiled into a zine to be released at a future date.

That starts at 10 PM and doors for Magrudergrind are at 11:30.
