Black Tusk releasing 'TCTB,' touring with Whores (stream 2 tracks)

Savannah sludge punks Black Tusk are following 2016’s great Pillars of Ash (which was their last to feature bassist Jonathan Athon, who sadly passed away in 2014) with TCTB on August 17 via Season of Mist, making this their first album for the label (following releases on Relapse). The first singles are “Agali” and “Burn the Stars,” both of which are relentless crushers that veer closer to their punk side than their metal side. They make this album seem very promising, and you can listen to both below.

Black Tusk are also touring with Whores and White Nails in support of the album, including a Brooklyn show on August 26 at Saint Vitus with High Command on the bill too (tickets). All dates are listed below.
