Blanck Mass playing Public Assembly after ATP NY (dates)
Blanck Mass (aka Benjamin John Power aka 1/2 of Fuck Buttons) is heading to NYC this weekend for ATP NY, which goes down on Pier 36 from September 21 – 23. If you can’t make it to ATP, or would rather see him in a more intimate environment, you’re in luck becuase Blanck Mass is hanging around after the festival to play a FIXED show at Public Assembly on Monday (9/24) with special guests TBA and FIXED regulars JDH & Dave P. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
Maybe you heard the ominous, ambient sounds of Blanck Mass (and Fuck Buttons) when they pounded through stadium speakers at this year’s Olympics Opening Ceremony. You can also listen to him on your (probably) much smaller speakers at home by checking out his 2011 self-titled LP, which was released on Mogwai’s Rock Action label. He also more recently released the White Math / Polymorph 12″ on Ford & Lopatin’s Software label last month (8/21). You can stream “White Math” below.
