Blinkin Park

blink-182 & Linkin Park's "Blinkin Park" shows cancelled

Linkin Park cancelled their upcoming tour in the wake of frontman Chester Bennington’s tragic suicide, but the status of the two “Welcome to Blinkin Park” shows the band were scheduled to play with blink-182 and Wu-Tang Clan, including one next week at NYC’s Citi Field, was still uncertain. According to blink-182, those shows are now cancelled as well.

Many musicians have paid tribute to Bennington following his death, including Stone Temple Pilots, for whom Bennington sang lead vocals from 2013-2015.

An official statement from Linkin Park is still forthcoming, but Mike Shinoda said he was “shocked and heartbroken” to hear the news.
