blink-182 no longer doing business with FedEx due to company's NRA deal

As you may have heard, FedEx is in the midst of some controversy after refusing to join other companies (like Delta, United Airlines, and Hertz) in ending their NRA discounts. They said in a statement that the company “has never set or changed rates for any of our millions of customers around the world in response to their politics, beliefs or positions on issues.” FedEx said that it “opposes assault rifles being in the hands of civilians,” but will still offer NRA members discounts.

As Business Insider reports, blink-182 have officially announced that they are no longer using FedEx in the wake of this news, and they are encouraging others to do the same. Co-frontman Mark Hoppus tweeted, “.@fedex has chosen to continue its business relationship with the NRA, despite its board member pushing conspiracies against children who survived Parkland. I’ve directed our representatives to stop using them, and encourage you to do the same. #BoycottFedEx”
