blink-182 playing 'Enema of the State' in full on Lil Wayne tour & Riot Fest

blink-182 have a new album coming this year, but since their classic 1999 album Enema of the State just turned 20, they’ll celebrate by performing that album in full on their upcoming co-headlining tour with Lil Wayne. They’re promising “the hits from the other albums, as well as new music” too. See their full announcement below. blink previously performed the album in full at Back to the Beach festival earlier this year.

The blink/Wayne tour includes a show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September 20. Tickets for that show are on presale now and the public on-sale begins Friday (6/7) at noon.

Interestingly, blink-182 are not one of the bands announced as performing a full album at Riot Fest, despite the festival falling right in the middle of this tour.

UPDATE (6/6): Riot Fest confirmed today that blink-182 will indeed perform Enema of the State at the festival, joining The Flaming Lips, Ween, Bloc Party, Against Me!, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Avail, Glassjaw, The Selecter, and Senses Fail as bands performing full albums at the festival. See Riot’s announcement below.

Meanwhile, don’t expect Tom DeLonge to rejoin the band anytime soon.
