Blitzen Trapper announce 'Furr' 10th anniversary reissue & tour
Portland folk-rock vets Blitzen Trapper are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their fourth album, Furr, with a deluxe edition of the LP and a fall tour where they’ll play it in full. The reissue will be out September 14 via Sub Pop and it contains 10 unreleased songs recorded during the same sessions as the album, plus two tracks recorded live at KCRW. You can listen to unreleased song “War is Placebo” and the KCRW live version of “Furr,” along with a stream of the original album, below.
The Furr 10th Anniversary Tour starts right after the reissue is out and includes a NYC show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 2. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, June 22 at noon with an AmEx presale beginning Wednesday (6/20) at noon.
