Back in October, Blonde Redhead played a special show with ACME ensemble, performing their album Misery is a Butterfly in full. They’re doing it again this weekend, as part of the industry-oriented APAP conference, at Le Poisson Rouge on Sunday (1/8). There are two shows — 5 PM and 9 PM and tickets for both are on sale now. The band will head to Europe for a two week tour before coming back for Tennessee’s Big Ears festival. All dates are listed below.
In other news, Blonde Redhead have a new EP, titled 3 O’Clock, which will be “out soon.” No other details but you can check out the cover art below.
Meanwhile, Simone and Amedeo Pace of Blonde Redhead will perform a live score for seven experimental films for a ‘Cinema Sixteen‘ event at Saturday (1/7) at 99 Scott in Brooklyn. It’s free and starts at 7 PM.
