Blood Orange shares new track, playing The Meadows today
Dev Hynes has just shared a new Blood Orange song on his SoundCloud, with the rough title of “BOWERYLDN EDIT 6 15 SEPTEMBER.” It’s a hazy, late-night sort of track, full of flutes and horns, that has an almost trip hop vibe at times. You can listen and check out the lyrics below.
Meanwhile, Blood Orange play NYC’s The Meadows festival today (9/15), headlining the Shea Stage at 7:15 PM. (Jay Z, Run the Jewels, Migos, Tegan & Sara and Dev’s pal Sky Ferreira are among those who also play Friday.) It’s his first NYC show in over a year. He’s one of our 12 NY Acts to see at the fest.
