Blood Orange's Dev Hynes opened for Blonder at Elvis Guesthouse last night
Under the name “Denim Dean,” Dev Hynes of Blood Orange played a short set to a packed Elvis Guesthouse last night (7/28). As he’s done in the past, he used his time a chance to try out never-before-heard material. Dev didn’t talk much to the crowd (which included all of Porches) and hardly paused between songs, making the most of his 30 minutes or so before advertised headliners Blonder took the stage.
Dev recently released his terrific third Blood Orange album Freetown Sound and played at NYC’s inaugural Panorama festival. Another pic from Dev’s set, plus a few Instagrams, below.
