French black metal greats Blut Aus Nord recently announced they’d be concluding the Memoria Vetusta trilogy, started in 1996, on October 10 when they release Memoria Vetusta III – Saturnian Poetry via Debemur Morti Productions. Its new single “Paien” is out now and it’s 8 minutes of atmospheric black metal greatness that shifts from monstrous blast beats and screams to gorgeous borderline-post-rock. Check it out below.
