Bob Mould brought his 40th Anniversary tour to Brooklyn (pics, setlist)

Bob Mould never lets you down. Armed with a terrific new album, Bob and his band (drummer Jon Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy) celebrated his 40 years in music with an epic-length set at Brooklyn Steel on Thursday night, loaded with songs from throughout his career, including plenty of Hüsker Dü and Sugar classics. They roared for just shy of two hours, including two lengthy encores. You can check out the setlist below. Bob was sporting his official Sunshine Rock flannel shirt, too. Titus Andronicus made for a great opener and pictures from the whole night are in the gallery above.

Brooklyn Steel was the last date with Titus, but Bob’s 40th Anniversary tour hits Chicago tonight (2/22) for their first of two shows at Metro and wraps up next Saturday (3/2) in San Francisco. Bob then heads to Europe. All tour dates are listed below.
