Bob Weir joining Phil Lesh for 'Terrapin Station' at Lockn' + daily lineups out now

Phil Lesh has been very active this year, and one of his upcoming shows is a 40th anniversary celebration of the Grateful Dead‘s Terrapin Station at Lockn’ Fest in August. That set just got even more anticipated, as Rolling Stone points out that Phil’s former Dead bandmate Bob Weir will be playing with him and his Terrapin Family Band.

“Having Bobby and Phil perform Terrapin Station together is one of those moments that we created Lockn’ for,” festival promoter Peter Shapiro tells RS. “I’m hoping it’s a musical experience that Deadheads will be able to lose themselves into and then live on as a live recording that will create lasting magic for a long time after.”

Since we last spoke, Lockn’ has expanded their lineup. This year’s fest includes John Fogerty, Jim James, Sinkane, Hiss Golden Messenger, Margo Price, Antibalas, Umphrey’s McGee, The Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Gov’t Mule, and plenty of others. Phil and TFB also have another set, separate from the Terrapin Station set with Bobby. And Phil is also playing a set with moe. Check out the day-by-day lineups below. Tickets for Lockn’ are still on sale.

Phil Lesh will next be in New York for shows at the Capitol Theatre on May 26 (tickets) and May 27 (tickets).
