Bone Awl

Bone Awl releasing new album, added to Hospital Productions show

Frontman and one half of black metal duo Bone Awl, He Who Gnashes Teeth (aka Marco del Rio), had been busy with his punk band Raspberry Bulbs in recent years, but he’s now set to focus on a new Bone Awl album. It’ll be their first full-length since 2007’s Meaningless Leaning Mess and first release since their 2011 split with Ashdautas (of The Black Twilight Circle). Most details on the album are TBA, but first they’ll have a cassette with seven demos from the album called The Lowest Road.

Bone Awl were also added to the Hospital Productions 20th anniversary show happening at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on November 5, and they’ll have the cassette on sale at that show. The bill also includes Godflesh (playing Streetcleaner in full), a collaborative Jesu/Nothing/Prurient set, Skin Crime‘s first two show in over 10 years, and much more. Tickets are still available. Updated lineup below.

There’s also an afterparty for the Hospital Productions show at Saint Vitus from midnight to 4 AM with Ron Morelli (tickets).
