The 2018 edition of Bonnaroo kicked off on Thursday (6/7) in Manchester, TN. The musical schedule is always lightest on the first day, but we caught sets from Jade Bird, Topaz Jones, and Ron Gallo, as well as a secret midnight Cage the Elephant camground set at Plaza 9. Cage’s Matt Shultz curated the plaza, called “Happy Roo Day,” and according to Pollstar it’s one of seven new plazas at the festival where attendees can get “roocharged, roolaxed and rooflect.”
Bonnaroo continues through Sunday (6/10), and if you aren’t there, you can stream some sets live. Check out our artists not to miss at this year’s edition HERE, and the set times (and conflicts) HERE. Stay tuned for more from Bonnaroo, too.
