The Bouncing Souls began their BrooklynVegan-presented three-night run at Irving Plaza last night (12/15). They’re supporting the new album Simplicity, but they of course played tons of old favorites like “That Song,” “East Coast! Fuck You!,” “Hopeless Romantic,” “Argyle,” “Gone,” “Manthem,” and still plenty more. Each night has different openers, and last night had costumed punks Masked Intruder and Jersey newcomers The Scandals. Pictures, including one of the Souls’ setlist, are in the gallery above.

The run continues tonight (12/16) with Off With Their Heads and Crazy & the Brains, and wraps up on Saturday (12/17) with Anti-Flag and Up For Nothing. Tickets for tonight’s show are still on sale but Saturday is sold out.

In case you missed it, check out The Bouncing Souls’ favorite albums of 2016, with some funny commentary.
