Champagne Jerry

Champagne Jerry‘s four-night The Champagne Room release show residency at New York Live Arts space starts tonight (3/2) and runs through Saturday (3/5). We knew there would be special guests and details have been announced.

Tonight and Thursday (3/3), Jerry will be joined by Adam Horovitz (aka Ad Rock of The Beastie Boys) and Bridget Everett. On Friday (3/4), he’ll be joined by Carmine Covelli (The Julie Ruin, People Are Detectives), and Saturday (two shows) features the world premiere of two new bands, invented for this show, Cocaine Dumbledore and Childless. Who are in those bands remains a secret. Frequent collaborator Murray Hill is set to be apart of the festivities this week as well, and Jerry’s real life alter ego Neal Medlyn will perform at these shows, too. Tickets for all for “Champagne Room” shows are still available.

Check out videos for The Champagne Room tracks “Yo Kev” and “52,” below.

In related news, Ad Rock’s Beastie Boys bandmate Mike D will be DJing at the inaugural Panorama festival in NYC this summer.
