Bridget St John, Ted Leo, Dave Hill & more appearing at Wesley Stace’s next Cabinet of Wonders

Wesley Stace‘s recurring variety show Cabinet of Wonders returns this month on May 20 at City Winery in NYC. The guests are announced, including British folk legend Bridget St. John, punk/indie vet Ted Leo, rapper Jean Grae, comedians Dave Hill and Eugene Mirman (well, Eugene is billed as “probably”), authors Alexander Chee and Mark Leyner, and singer Shemekia Copeland. Tickets are still available.

Bridget St. John, who put out a few classic albums in the ’60s and ’70s, played Jersey City’s WFMU Monty Hall a few months ago, and this is yet another pretty rare appearance for her. Stream her 1969 debut, Ask Me No Questions:
