Brockhampton - Tonya

Brockhampton announce new LP, debut song on 'Fallon' ft. serpentwithfeet

After parting ways with Ameer Vann following sexual misconduct allegations against Ameer, Brockhampton cancelled all tour dates and said they were possibly delaying their new album, but last night (6/20), they appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to announce their new album, and debut a new song in their first performance since Ameer’s official removal from the group (though they did play Boston Calling without Ameer the day before they announced his departure). The album is called The Best Years of Our Lives, and the song they debuted is called “Tonya.” It includes a reference to the new Tonya Harding biopic I, Tonya, and they performed the song with serpentwithfeet, Jazmine Sullivan and Ryan Beatty. It’s a little more melancholic and more soulful than what Brockhampton usually does, and it’s good stuff. Watch/listen above. The album will be out via Question Everything/RCA Records.

Brockhampton also plan to resume touring on June 30, and their schedule includes upcoming North American festivals like Lollapalooza and Osheaga. All dates are listed below.
