Broken Social Scene played Music Hall of Williamsburg (pics, video, setlist), play Panorama today

Ahead of their performance at this weekend’s Panorama festival, Toronto indie rock mass unit Broken Social Scene played a relatively small show for them at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on Thursday night (7/21). It was a crowd-pleaser of a show that wasted no time in getting to the hits, as they kicked things off with three of their best-loved songs, “KC Accidental,” “7/4 (Shorline)” and “Cause=Time,” and just kept going from there. The band, which included Stars’ Amy Milan, was in great spirts, as was the amped crowd. Singer/guitarist Kevin Drew got up close and personal with fans, jumping into the crowd to sing at one point.

Opening the show was Here We Go Magic’s Luke Temple, billed as Luke Perry. Broken Social Scene play Panorama’s The Pavilion today (7/22) at 5:30 PM. You can watch video of BSS playing “Cause=Time” at MHOW, plus the setlist and a few more Instagrams, below.
