Brooklyn DIY venue Suburbia was raided by police and shut down last night (6/9). According to tweets and instagram posts from bands playing the show and people in attendance, cops broke up the show in the middle of Timeshares’ set, and ASTPAI never got to play (Such Gold and Pass Away both played before the raid. Correction: while Pass Away played before the raid, Such Gold, who were due to headline, did not). Suburbia updated their facebook today saying they are unable to comment until the situation is resolved, but at least one upcoming show has been cancelled; Broken Field Runner tweeted that their upcoming show with No Thank You and Never is now off. Below are more accounts of last night’s raid and closure.

Currently scheduled upcoming shows at Suburbia include Camp Cope’s first NYC show with Katie Ellen, Worriers, and Thin Lips.
