Brooklyn Flea Record Fair announces DJ lineup; Cayetana, Motion Studies & Crazy Pills added to Marnie Stern show
The Brooklyn Flea Record Fair is next Saturday (9/27) at Smorgasburg (90 Kent in Williamsburg) and while you’re digging through the crates and the tables of special items from some of the label vendors, a host of DJs will be providing the soundtrack:
1-1:30pm Paul Collins (of Beirut)
1:30-2pm Matt W (RVNG Intl.)
2-2:30pm Kroba ( Archie Pelago)
2:30-3pm Rob Henry (Disco De Facto)
3-3:30pm Silent Servant
3:30-4pm Yale (Luaka Bop)
4-4:30pm DFA Special Guest
4:30-5pm Jonathan Toubin
The Brooklyn Flea Record Fair runs from 11AM – 6 PM and is free to attend.
Speaking of Smorgasburg, their special Summerstage event is tonight (9/19), featuring the Mr. Saturday Night DJs and 30 food vendors — including a special Shabbos dinner from the folks at Mile End — from 5 – 9PM at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. It’s free to attend, flyer is below.
And finally, don’t forget that the Brooklyn Flea’s “Northside Concert Series” kicks off this Sunday (9/21) at 50 Kent. We already knew it’d have a solo performance by Marnie Stern, and now the rest of the lineup was announced including Philly indie rockers Cayetana, Brooklyn electro-funk band Motion Studies and Crazy Pills. Music Starts at 3 PM.
