Brooklyn folk artist Swimming Bell preps debut (stream “Ealing Common”), touring

Swimming Bell

Swimming Bell is the solo project of Brooklyn-based folk singer Katie Schottland, who has played in a few bands here over the years. Her debut EP, The Golden Heart, will be out October 6 via Adventure Club Records. Produced by Oli Deakin (Lowpines), the record has a lush, mid-’70s California vibe that works well with her voice and songwriting style. You can check out “Ealing Common” from the LP, which premieres in this post, below.

Katie will celebrate the new album with a show at Brooklyn’s Pete’s Candy Store on October 7 with Mappa Mundi, and she’s got a few West Coast dates shortly after that. All are listed below.

Swimming Bell – 2017 Tour Dates
October 7 at Pete’s Candy Store, Brooklyn NY
October 10 at Hotel Utah, San Fransisco CA
October 13 at Joshua Tree Saloon, Joshua Tree, CA
October 14 at Hotel Cafe, Los Angeles, CA
