Brooklyn Mirage was shut down by the Health Department on Saturday (8/4) night, forcing the cancellation of an Innervisions event with rare sets by the label’s artists. The venue released a statement on Thursday (8/9) saying that they’d met with the Health Department and would be reopening their doors for business. Read the statement in full below:

We’re pleased to report that we had a very positive meeting at the Department of Health yesterday and were able to resolve the issue right away. It’s very unfortunate and frustrating that this couldn’t get cleared up in time for our Saturday event, causing the cancellation of Innervisions New York.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was affected by this.

It’s been an incredible season so far and tonight we continue with our regularly scheduled programming. We look forward to hosting the many amazing upcoming events, sharing some very exciting announcements, and we will always strive to give you the best experience we can possibly offer.

This evening we’re hosting Morgana [No Cover]: Jozif, Marques Wyatt, Swamy, Gaby Endo and we’d love to see your smiling faces! The first drink is on us!

Thank you for your continued support, understanding and trust.
