Brooklyn musician Matt Yu reported missing

**Update Feb 12 @ 8:30am: Last seen leaving Starline Social Club in Oakland at 3am on February 9th. He left with a man named Nick Mamula, in a brown 50s/60s Dodge town wagon. If anyone has seen that car, please notify police as detailed below.
**Update Feb 11 @ 10pm: Last seen Friday, February 8th at Starline Social Club in Oakland. If anyone in that area was with him or saw him, please notify police as detailed below.
**Update Feb 11 @ 8:30pm: He was last known to be in Sacramento the morning of Wednesday, February 6th. He was driving a rental car, a red Rav4. It is unclear whether his belongings were found in the rental car or on the ground. Hoping to find out the license plate. If anyone has met with Matt from Wednesday the 6th onward, please contact police below!
Matt Yu, who has played in a bunch of Brooklyn bands over the last 10 years, has been reported missing. He was supposed to meet up with his family in San Francisco on Friday, February 8 but never showed up. Police in Santa Cruz, CA recovered Matt’s backpack and cellphone last week. Here’s more information:
Police have recovered Matt’s backpack and cell phone last week in Santa Cruz, California area. It is unclear at this time how long he has been missing, but it appears to be days. His last contact with family was on Tuesday, February 6th. He appears to have been traveling south from Portland by train. He was supposed to meet with friends in San Francisco on Friday, February 8th but never showed up. Anyone with any info on his last seen whereabouts or any other helpful information, please contact:
