Bruce Springsteen played the Izod Center again (night 2 pics, setlist & Clarence Clemons tribute video)

So far, on every show on this tour, the final song has been “Tenth Avenue Freeze-out” which has included a powerful, silent tribute to Clarence. Every time Bruce gets to the line “When the change was made uptown and the Big Man joined the band” the band stops playing and Bruce urges the crowd on, for at least 90 seconds to just cheer as loudly as they can.
On Wednesday, Bruce ran to the mini-stage at the back of the floor pit (where he starts his crowd surfing from earlier) and when he got to that line, he stopped and the video screens showed video and pictures of Clarence throughout his E Street career. It was so moving and as Bruce again urged the crowd on (for almost a good two minutes), this time just had so much more meaning with the pictures of Clarence shown.
And while we miss Clarence so much, his nephew Jake has been outstanding along with the other members of the horn section. [NJ.com]
