Bruce Springsteen extending Broadway run through June

An instant sellout, Springsteen on Broadway is a chance to see Bruce Springsteen play some of his most famous songs in a solo-acoustic, very intimate setting. Good news for those who didn’t get tickets last time, The Boss has extended the run an additional four months, going from February 28 – June 30 at Walter Kerr Theatre. Tickets for the new dates go on sale December 19 through Ticketmaster Verified Fan but there’s a stipulation this time: You have to have registered for Springsteen on Broadway previously:

Due to overwhelming participation in the original Onsale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan®, there will be no additional registration for this extension. Fans who previously registered and were verified but placed on Standby and did not receive a code, and fans who received a code but were unsuccessful in purchasing tickets will be contacted by Ticketmaster with further information about the added shows.

The press release adds, “A digital lottery will continue to operate through the extension for fans interested in purchasing tickets after the December 19th on-sale. For details, visit www.luckyseat.com.”

Bruce’s initial Springsteen on Broadway run ends February 3.
