After 18 years on 42nd St, B.B. King Blues Club and Grill shut its doors for the last time on Sunday and thing closed out with blues legend Buddy Guy. Sporting a polka-dot shirt that matched his guitar, Buddy kept spirits and energy levels high for this final night celebration. Much like he did just a couple weeks ago at the venue, Buddy was ever the showman, performing at times from the middle of the crowd (and behind the bar), and brought out fellow bluesman Bobby Rush for a few songs, too. Pictures from B.B. King’s final night are in the gallery above.

The final weekend at B.B. King’s also included shows with George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic (Friday) and MYA (Saturday). The venue is looking for a location.
