Bush Tetras released 7" on Third Man (listen to digital bonus track), playing NYC
New York post-punk legends Bush Tetras released an EP last year and just followed that up with a new 7″ single via Jack White’s Third Man Records, featuring two brand new songs that fit right in with the group’s catalog of angular, danceable rock. They made it at Third Man’s Cass Corridor showroom floor in Detroit with help from Third Man Mastering’s Bill Skibbe and Warren Defever (of His Name is Alive). The Bandcamp edition of the single comes with a digital bonus track, the dirgey “A Sucker is Born,” and that track premieres in this post. Give that and the single a spin below.
Bush Tetras will celebrate the release of the new 7″ at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on Saturday, August 3 with Thalia Zedek’s E.,DJ Dave Buick (Third Man), and DJ Trip Warner (Warf Cat). Tickets are on sale now.
