When Death by Audio announced it was closing, not only did Matt Conboy start filming everything for a documentary, but also photographer and frequent BrooklynVegan contributor Ebru Yildiz began taking photos, both of the bands on stage but behind the scenes as well. She was there for the last 75 days and her photographs will make up new book We’ve Come So Far: The Last Days of Death by Audio. It’s out August 12 and preorders are available now at a reduced rate and come with a signed 8×10 digital c-print. (You may have seen the book’s cover before.) You can check out a few more pictures from the book below.

As for Conboy’s Goodnight Brooklyn: The Story of Death by Audio, the film made its world premiere at SXSW  and will screen at an NYC film festival in the next few months, details still TBA. Stay tuned.
