BV Presents: mewithoutYou, Big Eyes & Half Waif @ Saint Vitus ($3 with RSVP)
The next BrooklynVegan-curated installment of Red Bull Sound Select happens in NYC with mewithoutYou headlining on June 21 at Palisades.

Like all RBSS shows, the show will be opened by two local artists we’re excited about. This time it’s poppy punks Big Eyes (who put out a two-song single recently) and art pop musician Half Waif (who just released a new album).
Like most RBSS shows, admission is $3 at the door with RSVP or $10 without. No advanced sales. First come, first served, so get there on time!
mewithoutYou, whose last NYC show was earlier this month at Webster Hall with Say Anything, Teen Suicide and Museum Mouth, released their latest album Pale Horses last year on Run For Cover (it was one of our favorites of that year). It’s a great addition to their 15+ year career that has included J Robbins-produced heavy post-hardcore, Brad Wood-produced art rock, and Danielson-produced indie folk. Their shows usually touch on all eras of their career, and we’re very excited to have them in this small-ish venue.
After mewithoutYou wrap up their tour with Say Anything, they’ll tour Canada with Brand New ahead of the Brooklyn show. Updated dates are listed below.
