Calexico streaming new LP; Ryley Walker opening tour
Tuscon, Arizona’s Calexico are set to release their newest record The Thing That Keeps Us on January 26 via ANTI-, and the album is available to stream one week early, through NPR First Listen. According to a press release, the record was inspired by band co-founder Joey Burns’ wanderings around Northern California, and in Joey’s own words, “returning to your home after being gone for some time and seeing how things have changed, and maybe not in the best way.” You can stream the album in full HERE.
As previously announced, Calexico will be embarking on a North American tour this spring, and Ryley Walker was recently added to select dates. Ryley opens their upcoming NYC shows on April 28 at Music Hall of Williamsburg (tickets) and April 29 at Bowery Ballroom (tickets). The band will also be touring around Europe in addition to their leg in North America. All dates are listed below.
