Camp Cope touring US with Cayetana and Worriers, covered Replacements with Against Me

We called Australia’s Camp Cope one of the best new rock bands of 2016 thanks to the strength of their self-titled debut LP, so we’re very excited to hear they’re finally going on their first US tour. The tour includes dates with Worriers and Cayetana (who have a split with Camp Cope and just released a new album).

Camp Cope haven’t announced a NYC show (yet?) but the run with Cayetana and Worriers includes a nearby show in Belmar, NJ on July 8 at Paul’s Tavern (tickets).

Meanwhile, Cammp Cope have been on an Australian tour with Against Me! (who just announced US dates too), and Camp Cope singer Georgia Maq joined Against Me! on stage to cover The Replacements‘ “Androgynous” (a song Laura Jane Grace once covered with Miley Cyrus and Joan Jett). Worriers don’t have an upcoming NYC show at the moment either, but recently played here twice, including once opening for John K Samson. They also have a new album in the works.

Cayetana will play NYC as an opening band on the Waxahatchee tour. They play Warsaw on July 15 with Snail Mail opening as well. Tickets go on sale Friday (5/12) at 10 AM. All of their dates are listed below too.
