Camp Cope & Petal add Sidney Gish, Slingshot Dakota & Oceanator to tour
As mentioned, Camp Cope and Petal are going on a co-headlining tour in support of Camp Cope’s great, recently-released How to Socialise & Make Friends and Petal’s upcoming Magic Gone. Today, openers for that tour were announced, and all of them are pretty great: Sidney Gish, Slingshot Dakota and Oceanator. Both Sidney Gish and Oceanator have recent 2018 releases, No Dogs Allowed and the Lows EP, respectively (technically Sidney’s album came out on 12/31/17).
The tour begins with two Philly shows (one with Slingshot, one with Oceanator), and the tour hits the NYC-area towards the end of its run for shows on July 19 at House of Independents (tickets) and July 20 at Bowery Ballroom (tickets), both with Sidney Gish.
Petal also released a new video today for Magic Gone‘s lead single, “Better Than You” (directed by Christopher Good). Watch that, with the updated list of tour dates and music from everyone else on the tour, below.
