Canada's Pet Sun released an LP, made a video, playing CMJ with Weird Womb (dates & streams)

Canada’s Pet Sun recently put out their debut EP, Feel Like I’m Going Away, on Sleepless Records. It’s an album of mostly poppy mid-fi garage punk a la Wavves and Black Lips, but with a few slower, trippier dirges too. You can stream the whole thing below, as well as check out the brand new video for its track “Gimme Your Soul” (one of the poppier songs) which premieres in this post.

The band have a few dates scheduled at the moment, including a trip to NYC during CMJ where they’ll play The Flat on October 24 with Weird Womb and more TBA. No word yet if they’ll be playing other CMJ shows while they’re here.
