Car Seat Headrest played 'Colbert' while Wolf Parade played 'Conan' (watch)

Car Seat Headrest made the network television debut last night (8/25) on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, performing “Fill in the Blank” from this year’s excellent Teens of Denial. Will Toledo, looking a little like Jarvis Cocker in a sportcoat and tie, opted not to play guitar, going for pure frontman mode. You can watch that below.

The band will play Philadelphia’s Made in America festival over Labor Day Weekend, and will be in NYC for two sold-out Bowery Ballroom shows.

Meanwhile over at Conan, Wolf Parade brought their reunion tour to the late-night show, performing “Mr. Startup” from their new EP with a little help from the house band’s horn section. Watch that below too.

Wolf Parade play this weekend’s FYF Fest in Los Angeles.
