Cardi B brought out Chance the Rapper, YG & others at Coachella (watch)
One week after releasing her excellent debut album Invasion of Privacy and then playing SNL and Fallon, Cardi B played her first full live set in the support of the album at Coachella weekend one, day three, which included the live debuts of many songs from the new album. Cardi brought out album guests Chance the Rapper, 21 Savage, YG and Kehlani (but no SZA as hinted), and G-Eazy for his massive “No Limit” which features a verse by Cardi. There was also a brief appearance by BlocBoy JB before YG came out. She mostly stuck to the new album, but also broke out older cuts like “Lick” and “Foreva” and in addition to that G-Eazy collab, she did her verse from Bruno Mars’ “Finesse.”
Cardi acknowledged her pregnancy multiple times during her set, early on blaming it on getting out of breath, and later pointing out “that’s how I got pregnant” after dirty dancing along with the raunchy lyrics she and YG were singing during “She Bad.”
