Cass McCombs shares new song "Run Sister Run"
Cass McCombs recently announced his new album Mangy Love, due out August 26 via ANTI-, and today he’s shared another single from it. It’s called “Run Sister Run” and it’s a groovy song with an admitted Beat poetry influence on the vocals and a nice pop chorus. The song also has a strong, topical message; a press release mentions it’s “titled as a mantra for a misogynistic justice system.” Listen below.
Cass is also touring, including a NYC show on October 28 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for that show are still available.
