Arguably Cat Power‘s finest album and for sure a classic, 1998’s Moon Pix turns 20 this year and to celebrate Chan Marshall will perform the album in full for the first time backed by her original collaborators on the record, Jim White and Mick Turner of Dirty Three. The show happens May 31 at the Sydney Opera House (yes the one in Australia) and is part of VIVID LIVE 2018 which runs from May 25 – June 18. Also playing VIVID LIVE: Solange, Mazzy Star (the band’s Australian debut), Ice Cube, Iron & Wine, Total Control & Friends, Brian Eno’s Music for Airports performed by Alaska Orchestra, and more. Check out the full lineup, along with a stream of Moon Pix, below.
