Cataldo releasing an album ft. Ben Gibbard (stream "Photograph")

Cataldo is the indie pop project of Seattle musician Eric Anderson, who’s been at it for over a decade now. Eric’s become an associate of Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard over the years — the two of them toured together, and Ben provides guest vocals on “Room Without A Flame” off the upcoming sixth Cataldo record, Keepers. Eric also recorded part of the album in former DCFC member Chris Walla’s studio, and it was mixed by Tucker Martine, who’s worked with Death Cab (and Modest Mouse and The Decemberists and Spoon and many other cool artists). That album comes out on April 28 via Red Pepper Records (CD/Digital) and Moon Crew Records (vinyl), and we’re premiering the song “Photograph.” You can definitely hear some DCFC in this (and PacNW indie rock in general), and it’s good stuff.
