Cavity playing their first East Coast show in over a decade

Miami’s Cavity, the ’90s/early ’00s sludge metal band that included future Floor / Torche members Steve Brooks and Juan Montoya and future Black Cobra member Jason Landrian, half-reunited at a Black Cobra show in their hometown last year, and now a full reunion is planned. This lineup won’t actually include any of those three members, but it will include Eduardo Alejandro Matus, Daniel Gorostiaga, Rene Barge, Rick Smith (Torche), and Ryan Weinstein (The Cairo Gang and Mikal Cronin’s band).

They’ll make their first East Coast appearance in over a decade this fall, and it happens at NYC’s Saint Vitus on September 25, presented by Noisey. Also on the bill is Genocide Pact and Sunrot. Tickets are on sale now.
