CHAI & Bodega played Music Hall of Williamsburg (pics)

Japanese band CHAI are back in the U.S. in support of their terrific, fun second album, PUNK. They kicked off their tour on Monday night (7/15) in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg, for a night that included audience participation, costume changes, choreography, and lots of catchy songs. Opening the show were Bodega, who played a couple new songs in addition to ones from last year’s Endless Scroll. It was also guitarist Madison Velding-VanDam’s birthday so there was a little celebration of that too. Check out pictures from the whole night in the gallery above.

CHAI play play DC on Thursday and then Pitchfork fest in Chicago this weekend before hooking up with The Drums for West Coast dates.
