Chance the Rapper joined Death Cab for Cutie at Lollapalooza (watch)

The 2019 edition of Lollapalooza is underway (unsuccessful mass fence-jumping included) and Death Cab for Cutie performed at the festival’s second day on Friday, with a set that touched on most of their discography. They also brought out a special guest, Chicago hometown hero Chance the Rapper, for the first ever live performance of a highlight of his new album The Big Day, “Do You Remember,” which Ben Gibbard sings the hook on. Watch video of their onstage collaboration below.

Afterwards, Death Cab posted to Instagram, “the cat’s out of the bag now, so we can share these pictures – the day before @lollapalooza, our friend @chancetherapper stopped by our soundcheck at the Metro to rehearse our collaborative track ‘Do You Remember’. What a good time. What a great guy.”
