Chance the Rapper launches album/tour presale; old mixtapes now on vinyl & streaming

Chance the Rapper has dropped some new music lately, and now he officially launched pre-orders for his new album, which is due in July. He calls it his “debut album,” because all the ones he released so far have technically been mixtapes. (The mixtape/album line is blurry, but in Chance’s case it feels especially weird to refer to this as a debut. Anyway.) There’s a pre-order bundle with access to his world tour pre-sale. Dates for that tour appear to still be TBA, but Chance’s site says “Information, including pre-sale access codes, will be emailed prior to the general on-sale of the World Tour.” Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Chance just put his first two mixtapes, Acid Rap (2013) and 10 Day (2012), on streaming services for the first time. Listen to those, as well as his latest, 2016’s Coloring Book, below. All three are also now available on vinyl.

Chance also has some festival dates announced, including Life Is Beautiful and Miami Beach Pop. He also still currently advertises that he’s playing Woodstock 50. All currently known dates are listed below.
