Chance the Rapper is continuing his star turn with a move into the film world. Chance announced via Twitter earlier today that he’ll star in Slice a “pizza delivery thriller” from director (and frequent Chance collaborator) Austin Vesely. Chance shared a quick clip from the movie, which is being released in 2017 via A24 Films.

We don’t know a ton about the film. It was shot in Chicago, and A24’s logline describes it thusly: “The movie takes place in mysterious city, and centers around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys.” Chance plays “a werewolf who is a former Chinese food delivery driver” (according to a 2015 interview). Hopefully Chance does as good an acting job as he does in the new Kit Kat commercial.

A24 is having a great year already. They have the fantastic Moonlight out now, and the distributor recently shared a clip from towards the end of the film which features prominent use of Jidenna‘s “Classic Man.” It’s a great scene from a great movie (which also features great use of music), and you can watch that here.
